Guest Information - Monaco Historic Grand Prix 2026

E-tickets will be sent to you two weeks before the event and will be sent to the email address that was used in the booking process. If you would like to change the email address that tickets are sent to please contact us: info@senategrandprix.com
When you arrive at your race viewing venue, please have your e-ticket ready (either on your phone or printed). It will be scanned, and you’ll be issued a physical pass/lanyard to wear for the day. This pass grants access to that specific venue for that day only. If you are attending on multiple days, you’ll need to repeat this process each day at your venue.

Hospitality Venues:
  • You will receive one e-ticket per person per day. 
  • You will receive one email for each day of race viewing you have booked. All e-tickets for that specific day will be included in the email. (e.g. all Saturday tickets will be grouped together in one email)
  • E-tickets must be swapped for physical passes on the day of your race viewing.
Grandstands:
  • E-tickets will be sent in PDF format - you will receive one e-ticket per person, per day.
  • Grandstands require e-tickets only; no physical passes are needed.
  • Grandstands on Friday are non ticketed and open for anyone to enjoy.
Accommodation:
  • You will receive one e-ticket per room booking, confirming your stay.
  • Please check your arrival & departure dates are correct.
  • Please present your passport at check in, you do not need to show this e-ticket at reception checking in.
Airport transfers:
Airport transfers will not be mentioned on your e-tickets. Please see 'Transport' section for more information.

If you are a repeat guest, please note that we no longer hold ticket collection sessions at the Hermitage in the days leading up to the race weekend. All physical passes must now be collected on the day of your race viewing.

All hotel rooms are booked in the guests’ name as part of the Senate Grand Prix group. The hotel will require credit card details to cover any additional expenses or incidental costs incurred during your stay. Breakfast is included with all hotel rooms. City tax is not included in your booking and will be payable at check-out.

You will receive an e-ticket confirming your room booking two weeks before the event. You do not need to show the e-ticket at check in, you will simply need to show your passport and the hotel staff will be able to check you in.

Check-in / check-out times
Timings may vary depending on the hotel (see below). During this busy period, some hotels may not have all rooms ready by the planned check-in time. We sincerely apologise if you are affected by this; you can leave your bags at the hotel until your room is available.

The following information may be relevant to you if you are staying at one of the hotels listed below:

Fairmont Monte Carlo
The hotel is in a great location within the track. Whilst the track is in use, the hotel operates a temporary check-in desk located at AFIM Agency on Avenue de Grande-Bretagne. From here, the hotel staff will check you in, take your luggage, and assist with parking if required. A metal footbridge connects the hotel to the rest of Monaco. The hotel will provide guests with hotel access passes, which should be taken when leaving the hotel during the scheduled race.

Port Palace Hôtel
Due to restricted access during the race weekend, please arrive at 11 Avenue de la Costa, 98000 Monaco, where the hotel's valet staff will be waiting. The team will welcome you on site and escort you to the hotel. The hotel will provide guests with hotel access passes, which are required to access the hotel during the race schedule.

* Access to Salle Empire is from 12:00. Should you wish to arrive earlier Senate guests will have access to the Garden Terrace, Hotel de Paris from 8am until Salle Empire opens at midday. There is no bar service between 08:00 - 12:00, coffees and beverages can be purchased from the hotel lobby / Bar American.
Please note, there are no tables on the terrace of Salle Empire this year, all tables will be inside. 


Grandstands:
All grandstands are free to access on Friday should you wish to enjoy some of the racing from a grandstand.

Tip:
 Grandstands ('tribunes' in French) are very well signposted around Monaco - on the map find the closest grandstand to your venue and use the signposts to help you get to your venue.

Pre-Booked Car Airport Transfers
If you have booked airport transfers with us between Nice Airport and Monaco, please ensure you have emailed your flight information & cell phone number to: info@senategrandprix.com

With the exception of delayed flights, drivers cannot wait for late guests. If you think you will be delayed or want to change your timings, please contact us so we can make alternative arrangements (if available).


Return Airport Transfers
If you have booked a return transfer to the airport with us, you will be collected from the front of your hotel 3 hours before your scheduled take-off time. Your exact collection time will be communicated to you during race week. If you would like to request a specific collection time, please contact us: info@senategrandprix.com


Train Transfers
The quickest way to get from Nice to Monaco is by train; the journey takes just over 30 minutes. The trains will run regularly over the weekend but will likely be very busy, so please take this into consideration when planning your journey. On Saturday & Sunday after the racing, the Monaco train station will be very busy, so please be aware that you may have to queue. The trains run until approximately 23:00 every night. 

We highly recommend pre-booking your train tickets between Nice and Monaco, as the station can get very busy during peak times.  Although a time must be selected upon booking, tickets are flexible and can be used on any journey of the selected day. Click here to book your train tickets.


Driving to Monaco & Parking
Driving to Monaco is not recommended as traffic congestion is extremely high. If you do plan on driving, then click here to reserve your parking space via Monaco Parkings.

What is the weather like in Monaco during April?
The expected average temperature is 14°C throughout April, with pleasant average highs of 16°C and lows of 12°C. However, it can often feel warmer when in the sunshine!

Is there a dress code?
The Monaco Historic Grand Prix is generally a very sophisticated event. We want all our guests to feel comfortable, so please consider the following suggestions for specific locations:

Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage & Metropole:
Smart attire. Sportswear, torn jeans, and beachwear are not accepted. Smart trainers are accepted.

Fairmont Suites + Heracles:
Smart/Casual—Tailored shorts, jeans or chinos, and smart trainers are accepted. Team polos are also accepted. Beachwear is not accepted.

Grid Café and all grandstands:
Casual—shorts & trainers accepted.

Please consider forecasted weather conditions and be prepared with appropriate clothing and sun protection. This is particularly true for the grandstands where shelter is limited.

What about footwear?
Monaco is known for its hills, and with the track closing regular routes, a good amount of walking may be required. You may also need to stand for extended periods at viewing locations, so please choose your footwear accordingly.

Will I need earplugs?
Foam earplugs will be supplied at all our venues. If you are attending with young children, we strongly recommend bringing ear defenders for them.

Is there food available at the Grandstands?

Yes there are food and drink vendors positioned near the grandstands so you can buy sandwiches, hot dogs, drinks etc. Glass bottles and cans are not allowed inside the grandstand areas.

Photography & drones
Spectator photography is permitted for personal use, provided cameras are handheld and do not obstruct views or breach safety rules. Prohibited items include camera tripods, professional video equipment, and bulky camera bags
Drones are strictly prohibited.

Safety & Security
Safety is a priority for Monaco authorities; security checks will be in operation. We recommend carrying identification at all times and allowing extra time for potential delays. Please keep your pass and lanyard visible around your neck.
